An engraving turns a piece of jewellery into something very special. This is a popular form of decoration. Unlike today, the first engravings were carved on shells thousands of years ago with the help of fish teeth. Over the years, the specially developed burin replaced shark teeth as tools. What started out as a real craft back then is now primarily done with engraving machines. A distinction is made between laser engraving and diamond engraving. The latter is a colourless relief engraving that is carved into the piece of jewellery with a diamond. With laser engraving, on the other hand, the material layers of the materials used, such as silver, gold, stainless steel, stone or glass, are removed. The resulting dust is then burned directly into the piece of jewellery, giving the engraving its colour (which depends on the material). A wide range of jewellery can be engraved, such as rings, bracelets and bangles or even necklaces and individual pendants. The reasons for engraving vary greatly. Engraving wedding rings, for example, is a common practice at weddings. The name of the spouse or the wedding date is usually engraved on the rings. But bracelets with engraved plates (so-called "ID bracelets") are also very popular. Personalised pendants with the initials of the closest family members are also becoming increasingly popular. The size and position of the engraving depends on the size of the engravable area and the desired type of lettering or symbol. All engravings are made on site using the latest technology to ensure precise results. Accordingly, we can also fulfil demanding engraving requests and dispatch them quickly.
