Silver tends to discolour. This is quite normal and an indication that it is real silver. The reaction of silver in the air forms silver sulfite, which causes a black colouration. This can be counteracted with the appropriate care. You can find more information in the fold-out tab ‘Care and Storage’.".
- As soon as you feel that the jewellery is discoloured, you should clean it. This makes it easier to remove the discolouration.
- Do not store in humid places such as the bathroom or kitchen. The high humidity will cause the jewellery to change colour even faster.
- Do not wear during sports. Sweat, salt water, chlorine and many other substances can also discolour your jewellery.
- Cosmetics can also cause changes to the surface, which is why jewellery should not come into contact with creams, hairspray or perfume.
- The warranty does not cover contamination or damage to your jewellery due to improper care.
- You can achieve optimal results with the appropriate cleaning and care products, such as a silver jewellery bath, a polish and a silver cloth. These products are, of course, also available in our shop.
- When not being worn, jewellery should be stored separately in a jewellery box.
- In addition, you should pack the jewellery individually and as airtight as possible to protect it from scratches and tarnishing.
