Fitting Service

Fitting service for wedding rings (Germany only & not for gold rings)

We recommend choosing the fitting service for ring sets if you are unsure about ring sizes or similar. Rings with an engraving or a changed stone setting are excluded from the exchange.

When ordering, simply select that you would like to order the rings with the fitting service (€8.90 surcharge). You will first receive the rings without engraving and without modified stone setting for fitting.

For €8.90 you receive:

  • One free return shipment (print your parcel label via our returns service)
  • A new insured re-shipment back to you
  • The certainty that the rings fit and that you love them!

Multiple shipments are not included in the fitting service. Further adjustments are possible but an additional €8.90 would be charged.

After the fitting, send the rings back to us free of charge via our returns service. Final production then begins.

Dummy service for gold, platinum & palladium wedding rings (not for Rauschmayer rings and configurator rings)

We offer a special dummy service exclusively for our gold, platinum and palladium wedding rings.

For just €15 (plus a €55 deposit, refunded after return) you receive:

  • Stainless steel replicas of the original wedding rings (dummies)
  • 4 stainless steel sample rings for size determination
  • A ring gauge for approximate size determination
  • The certainty that the rings fit and that you love them!

Definitions

Dummies: Stainless steel replicas of the final rings. Size, width, texture and surface finish cannot be changed on the dummies. The ladies’ ring dummy comes with zirconia stones comparable in size to a 0.03 ct diamond.

Sample rings: Stainless steel rings used solely for size determination, in 3 mm or 5 mm width. They are not a representation of the final wedding rings.

Please return the dummies and sample rings within the 14-day cancellation period from the date of receipt. We retain the €15 service fee and refund the deposit via the original payment method.

Order an item without engraving for fitting (without fitting service)

You can order individual items without engraving and return them to us for subsequent engraving. The corresponding engraving surcharge and resulting shipping costs will be charged.

Determining your ring size

Please refer to our size guide for detailed advice on determining your ring size.

  • Measure in the evening — fingers tend to swell slightly during the day
  • Measure at normal body temperature (not after exercise or in extreme temperatures)
  • Measure several times over different days for a reliable result
  • Wider rings may require half to a full size larger

Engraving

General notes on engraving

We can neither exchange engraved products nor change the size or length after ordering. We therefore recommend determining the exact size or length in advance. Our size guide may help.

If you are still unsure, we will gladly send you the piece without engraving for fitting first, then engrave it afterwards (engraving surcharge applies, plus return shipping costs).

Important: Engraved products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Types of engraving

Diamond engraving

A colourless relief engraving carved directly into the jewellery using a diamond. Permanent and highly durable.

Laser engraving

Material layers are removed by a laser; the resulting dust is burned back into the piece, creating the colour of the lettering.

Longevity and font colour of laser engravings

The shade and longevity of the font colour depend on the exact material composition, which can vary even within the same product.

If the colour fades over time, the engraving remains legible because the removed material leaves a recess — similar to a diamond engraving.

Notes on engraving size and position

The size and position depend on the dimensions of the piece and the available engravable area. Each engraving is individually adapted by our experienced engravers.

Where items are ordered as a set, the companion piece dimensions are taken into account where possible. If you place a separate repeat order later, the font size and position may therefore differ slightly.

Available fonts

You can choose from 15 different fonts for both diamond and laser engraving, including various cursive/script styles, block letter styles, and decorative typefaces. The full font overview is shown during the engraving step of the ordering process.

Jewellery Care

General care instructions
  • Most jewellery can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap.
  • Cleaning and care products for silver and gold jewellery are available in our shop.
  • Leather jewellery should be impregnated before wearing to prevent it from becoming porous.
  • Do not store jewellery in damp places or wear it during sport or exercise.
  • Avoid contact with cosmetics or perfume, as these can damage the surface.
Silver care

Silver (without rhodium plating) can change colour over time — this is entirely normal and not a sign of poor quality. Silver constantly reacts with oxygen in the air.

  • Wipe with a silver cloth each evening
  • Place in a silver bath once a month
  • Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes and sweat — especially in warm temperatures, as these accelerate oxidation considerably

Returns / Exchange / Refund

General notes on returning goods
  • Jewellery with engraving, a changed stone setting or custom-made products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
  • A return is only possible within the withdrawal period, provided the product is not excluded.
  • If you are unsatisfied with your delivery, please contact our customer service first:
  • For worn items with signs of use, we may charge for the resulting loss in value.
  • Within Germany: Use our returns service. Processing fee: €4.90. Returns are insured up to €500.
  • Outside Germany or for goods over €500 in value: you must send the return at your own expense.

Please note: Do not send items back carriage unpaid. Pack items securely — neither we nor the carrier are liable for damage during return transport. You generally bear the cost of the return (per our Terms & Conditions and cancellation policy).
Returning for an exchange

Exchanging an item for a different one is not possible with Klarna Invoice. In this case, return the item for a refund and reorder the item you want.

When returning for an exchange, please include: the item number, length or size of the item you would like to receive.

Re-shipment costs: Within Germany €4.90 — abroad see shipping information.

Once processed, we will notify you by email of any shipping costs and/or price differences. Additional amounts can only be paid by PayPal or bank transfer.

Faster alternative: Return for a refund and place a new order immediately — the new item ships as soon as payment is received.
Returning for a refund

You can use our returns service (Germany only) or dispatch the parcel yourself. Please follow the general return guidelines above.

Once the return is processed, we will notify you by email. Refunds are always issued via the payment method used when ordering.

Returning via the fitting service

Please return the item to us and let us know what you would like to change (engraving, ring size). Include this information in the parcel, or contact our customer service team with your change requests.

Dispatch

Delivery times

Standard delivery by DHL and DPD takes approximately 1–2 working days. Order Monday – Thursday before 2 pm for same-day dispatch. DPD does not deliver on Saturdays.

PayPal orders: Delivery goes exclusively to the address registered with PayPal.

Express shipping (Germany only)

Order Monday – Thursday before 2 pm and we will aim to dispatch your order the same day, with delivery the following day.

Orders placed on Friday before 2 pm are dispatched the same day, but delivered on Monday — DPD does not deliver on Saturdays.

  • Item must be marked as “immediately available”
  • Payment must be received before 2 pm
PayPal orders: Delivery goes exclusively to the address registered with PayPal. The address entered during checkout will not be used.
Shipping abroad
🇦🇹 Austria
  • Shipping cost: €8.90
  • Average delivery time: 2–4 working days
  • Express delivery to Austria is not available
🇨🇭 Switzerland
  • Exempt from German VAT (prices update after entering a Swiss delivery address)
  • Complete customs clearance included in shipping costs
  • Shipped via DPD — Swiss VAT of 8% due on delivery, collected by DPD
  • Shipping cost: €30
  • For goods valued at €1,000+, an export declaration is required (+€30 surcharge)
🇳🇴 Norway
  • Shipping cost: €22.90
  • DPD requires the recipient’s PID number — please include in the address field
🇪🇸 Canary Islands
  • Shipping cost: €30
  • DPD requires the recipient’s NIE number — please include in the address field

Payment methods

Prepayment / Bank transfer

  • In-stock items dispatched after receipt of payment, at the latest the next working day (Mon – Fri)
  • You will be notified by email when payment is received
  • Bank transfers may take up to 4 days depending on your bank

Klarna (Germany, Austria & Netherlands only)

  • Pay now (instant transfer, direct debit or credit card), Pay later (invoice, up to 14 days), or Pay in instalments — 6, 12, 24 or 36 months (Germany only)
  • Minimum age 18 · billing address in Germany, Austria or Netherlands · successful Klarna credit check required
  • Manage purchases at klarna.com or the Klarna App
Important: Goods are dispatched only to the billing or delivery address registered with Klarna.

PayPal

  • In-stock items dispatched after receipt of payment, at the latest the next working day
  • PayPal buyer protection up to €1,000
  • A PayPal account is required
Important: Goods are dispatched exclusively to the buyer protection address registered with PayPal. The address entered in our checkout will not be used.

Wallets / Apple Pay / Google Pay

  • A wallet uses app software to securely pass payment details from your bank account or card to the payment provider
  • Fast, convenient and secure payment method
  • In-stock items are dispatched after receipt of payment, at the latest the next working day (Mon – Fri)
  • Apple Pay: payments are confirmed via Touch ID or Face ID
  • Google Pay: uses NFC technology; you confirm by fingerprint or password while card details remain encrypted
  • Apple Pay or Google Pay must be set up on your device
