Bead

Bead
Beads have become increasingly popular in the world of jewellery, because these spherical pendants offer every jewellery owner a creative opportunity to create his or her own jewellery. Bead is the name for the individual elements that can be threaded onto a bracelet or chain and, together with the band or chain and the other elements on it, make up the entire piece of jewellery. Beads are made of different materials. Thematic bead categories can be animals, plants, buildings or mementoes, for example. Commonly used materials for beads are silver, gold, glass and stainless steel. There is also a distinction in the shape of the pendants and so there exist dangle beads, which are round beads and especially large beads. Of course, collectors can also distinguish their beads by colour.
